On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at approximately 6:55 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Finch Avenue East at Seneca Hill Drive .
It is reported that:
- a Nissan Pathfinder was westbound on Finch Avenue East, attempting to make a left turn to southbound Seneca Hill Drive
- a 46-year-old woman was driving a Nissan Maxima, eastbound on Finch Avenue East, approaching Seneca Hill Drive
- the Pathfinder and Maxima collided in the intersection
- the Maxima continued in a southeast direction, striking a 25-year-old woman who was in the southeast area of the intersection
- the Maxima came to a rest, just east of the intersection, on the south side
- the driver of the Pathfinder abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene after the collision
The pedestrian received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
