This is the next installment of 14 Division's "Fugitive Friday". We are looking for Jessica Crowell, 29, of Toronto.
On Saturday, February 7, 2015, a woman, 29, and a man, 30, were inside an apartment in the Jameson Avenue and Springhurst Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- they became involved in an argument
- the woman made a veiled threat to the man
- while he slept she pressed a lit cigarette against his neck, causing burns
- later in the evening they continued to argue
- she slapped the man about the face and spat on him
- he again went to sleep but awoke to her standing over him holding a knife
- she slashed him twice with the knife
- he was able to escape to the washroom where he called police
Jessica Crowell, 29, of Toronto, is wanted on a Bench Warrant for:
1) two counts of Assault
2) Assault with a Weapon
She is described as white, 5'2", 140 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes.
Police warn that she is considered violent. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
