On Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 5:01 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Danforth Road, near Linden Avenue .
It is reported that:
- an 86-year-old man was attempting to cross Danforth Road mid-block, from the south side to the north side, west of Linden Avenue
- a 42-year-old man was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan, westbound, on Danforth Road
- the man was struck by the vehicle.
The 86-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
