The Toronto Police Service has received numerous complaints of Criminal Harassment from across the province.
It is alleged that:
- a man sent emails containing death threats and hate propaganda to numerous people
- the man has been continually calling and harassing people via telephone
On Wednesday, February 5, 2015, Rupen Balaram-Sivaram, 51, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. three counts of Criminal Harassment
2. three count of Uttering Death Threats
3. Personation to Disadvantage
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, February 5, 2015, 10 a.m.,
Police believe there may be other victims.
