The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- the man is a pastor at the United Spiritual Baptist Church at 787 Midland Avenue
- between May 2011 and May 2013, he offered spiritual guidance to a woman, including performing exorcisms
- during these sessions, he sexually assaulted the woman
- the man convinced the woman to give him money and property
On August 31, 2014, Wayne Marlon Jones, 53, of Ajax, was arrested and charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Three counts of Fraud Over
The investigation continues and police believe there may be other victims.
