The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in three bank robberies.
On Tuesday, January 22, 2015, at 2:15 p.m., a man walked into a bank at Royal York Road and La Rose Avenue.
It is reported that:
- he approached a teller and handed her a note
- the note indicated that he had a gun and made a demand for money
- he fled the bank before he got any money
On Tuesday, January 22, 2015, at 4:10 p.m., he entered a bank at Keele Street, south of Finch Avenue West.
It is reported that:
- he passed the teller a robbery note
- he showed her an iPhone with a countdown timer running for two minutes
- he was given a quantity of money and fled
On Tuesday, January 22, 2015, at 7:55 p.m., he entered a bank at Bloor Street West and Royal York Road.
It is reported that:
- he handed the teller a note giving them five minutes to hand over money
- he pulled out his iPhone which had a countdown timer running
- as the teller readied the money, he fled emptyhanded
He is describe as black, 20-25, 5'6"-5'7", slim build, wearing a Cleveland Indians baseball cap, black 'Chuck Taylor' high-tops and white earphones.
Police are releasing security camera images.
