The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a home invasion Robbery investigation.
On Thursday, January 22, 2015, officers responded to a call for a Robbery in the Coxwell Avenue and Walpole Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a man, 24, and woman, 21, were in a home
- three men entered the residence while armed with a handgun
- they made a demand for cash and the home was ransacked
- the man and woman were threatened with death and bodily harm
- the man was forced to attend a nearby bank and withdraw money
- the three men fled with a quantity of property and cash
On Thursday, January 29, 2015, Tristan Pascal-Roach, 24, of no fixed address, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Robbery
2) Break-and-Enter and Commit
3) Use Firearm to Commit Indictable Offence
4) Forcible Confinement
5) Extortion
6) Careless Storage of a Firearm
7) Carry Concealed Weapon
8) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
9) Possess Firearm with Ammunition
10) Possess Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
11) Careless Storage of Ammunition
12) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
13) Fail to Comply with a Recognizance
It is further alleged that a loaded .45 calibre Taurus semi-automatic pistol with nine rounds of ammunition was seized when he was arrested.
He appeared in court at College Park on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 2 p.m., room 501
