On Friday, January 30, 2015, at 10:30 a.m., in the media gallery at headquarters, Homicide Detective Sergeant Gary Giroux will update the media on the investigation into Homicide #50/2014.

He will be releasing a security camera video.

At 3:58 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014, police received a call for a shooting at the Garden Restaurant, 153 Dundas Street West.

Once on scene, police located three victims in the restaurant. All appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. Two women have non-life-threatening injuries. A 31-year-old man was pronounced at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Tariq Mohammed, 31, of Mississauga.

The conference will be available on Bell T.O.C. and livestreamed to YouTube.
