The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing investigation.
On Friday, March 1, 2013, police were notified of a suspicious incident on a TTC bus at the bus platform at Islington subway station.
It is reported that:
- at approximately 3 p.m., a man had a short conversation with a five-year-old boy on the bus
- the man then asked the boy to leave the bus with him
The man is described as white, approximately 70, 5'10", 170 lbs., clean-cut, with short, dark, grey hair combed to the right, blue eyes, bushy black eyebrows, and a long, thin, very wrinkled face and forehead, possibly missing several upper and lower teeth. He was wearing a navy-blue three-quarter-length wool jacket, dark pants and grey shoes with velcro.
Police want to talk to this man regarding the incident.
