The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted for Attempted Murder.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting at 500 Dawes Road.
It is alleged that:
- a man, 28, was in an apartment in the building
- three men entered the apartment and an altercation ensued
- shots were fired, striking the man
- the three men fled the area
- two of those men have now been arrested
Nathan Holdsworth, 31, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Attempt Murder
2) Robbery
3) Point Firearm
4) two counts of Carry Concealed Weapon
5) Weapons Dangerous
6) Discharge Firearm
7) Theft Under $5000
8) four counts of Fail to Comply with Probation
9) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
10) Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
11) Carry Firearm
12) Possession of a Firearm
13) Possession of a Weapon
14) Escape Lawful Custody
15) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
16) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
17) Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
18) Possession of a Schedule 11 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
19) Possession of the Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on October 25, 2014, room 101, at 10 a.m.
Joel Pettigrew, 31, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Attempted Murder
2) Robbery
3) Theft Under $5000
He appeared in court at College Park on November 7, 2014, 10 a.m.
Jerome Balfour, 25, of Toronto, has been identified as the third suspect. He remains outstanding and is wanted by police.
He is described as black, light complexion, 6'4", 180 lbs., black-toed construction boots, cream 3/4-length winter jacket with black stripes and orange lettering on the arms, black Crooks and Castles hoodie and black pants.
He is believed to be armed and dangerous. Do not approach. If he is located, call 9-1-1.
His photograph has been released.
