On Wednesday, December 31, 2014, police advised the public of a Sexual Assault investigation.
It was alleged that:
- on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at approximately 8 p.m., a man attended a 43-year-old woman's apartment building in the Birchmount Road and Finch Avenue East area

On Sunday, January 4, 2014, Min Feng Ma, 28, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) Sexual Assault with Weapon
2) Weapons Dangerous (two counts)
3) Forcible Confinement
4) Assault with Weapon
5) Possession of Firearm
6) Point Firearm
7) Use firearm in the Commission of an Indictable Offence
8) Uttering Threats
9) Robbery
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10 a.m.
