On Friday, November 21, 2014, at 6:03 a.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision at Finch Avenue West and Driftwood Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a woman, 41, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caravan eastbound on Finch Avenue West, in the passing lane, approaching Driftwood Avenue
- a woman, 60, was attempting to cross Finch Avenue West, from the south side to the north side, on the west side of the intersection
- the woman was struck by the vehicle
The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or witnessed this collision.
