On Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 9:25 a.m., a Parking Enforcement Officer was working in the Mt. Pleasant Road and Moore Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- the Parking Enforcement Officer was tagging vehicles on the south side of Moore Avenue
- she was told to leave the area, because their presence is not liked in the neighborhood
- a neighbourhood man then quickly drove by the Parking Enforcement Officer
- the driver drove the vehicle close to the Parking Enforcement Officer, causing the vehicle's side mirror to hit her
- the vehicle had a 10-12 year old child as an occupant and was last seen driving southbound on Cliffton Road
The Parking Enforcement Officer sustained minor injuries
The suspect is described as white, 5'9"-5'10". He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and jogging pants. The vehicle is described as a black four-door Acura MDX or RDX with a partial Ontario licence plate of "BAXS."
