Toronto Police Dog Services will be hosting an open house to celebrate 25 years of Service to the citizens of Toronto.
On Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Police Dog Services will be open to the public.
There will be canine demonstrations and various activities including a BBQ, tuck shop, tours of the grounds, posters, and K-9 photo cards for kids.
The public will have the opportunity to meet the handlers as well as their canine partners.
The demonstrations will commence at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each show will last approximately 45 minutes and will feature the various skills of the canines including searches for drugs, explosives and the apprehension of suspects.
Police Dog Services is located at 44 Beechwood Drive, Toronto.
Please do not bring family pets to the event.
