Police request assistance with Theft Under Investigation, Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with the identification of a man involved in a Theft Under Investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at approximately 1:10 a.m., a man drove to the Esso Gas Station in the area of Bathurst Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West

- the man proceeded to pump a quantity of gas into his vehicle

- the man left the gas station without paying

He is described as brown, 20 to 30 years old, short black hair with a thin build. He was wearing a black shirt, grey pants, and grey running shoes.

A surveillance camera photograph of the man and his vehicle is being released.
