On Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 1:08 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East
It is reported that:
- a 63-year-old man was attempting to cross Lawrence Avenue East, from the south side to the north side, just west of the intersection
- a 25-year-old man was driving a 2013 Toyota, westbound on Lawrence Avenue East, in the curb lane
- the man was struck by the Toyota as he attempted to cross the street
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
