On Friday, August 29, 2014, at 6:12 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Kingston Road at Woodbine Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a man, 61, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle westbound on Kingston Road, in the passing lane, approaching Woodbine Avenue
- as traffic ahead of the motorcycle slowed to make a left turn, the motorcycle made a lane change from the passing lane in to the curb lane
- a man, 52, was driving a 2001 Toyota Echo eastbound on Kingston Road in the passing lane and attempted to make a left turn to northbound Woodbine Avenue
- as the Toyota made the left turn, it was struck by the motorcycle
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital suffering life-threatening injuries.
