On Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 5:05 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Kennedy Road and Bonis Avenue.

The driver has been identified as Senathi Rasamanikkam, 47, of Toronto.
He has been charged with:
1) Criminal Negligence Causing Death
2) Fail to Stop at the Scene of Accident Causing Death
He appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, August 28, 2014, courtroom 412, 10 a.m.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance with this investigation. Investigators are adamant that public and media assistance with this investigation was pivotal to a conclusion.
The investigation is continuing by members of Traffic Services.
