The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation:
On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at approximately 6:30 a.m., a female sex trade worker, 37, was in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area.
It is reported that:
- she was approached by a man who was not known to her
- she was then forcibly confined and sexually assaulted in the stairwell of a building
- she managed to escape and contacted police
The man is described as black, 29-33, 200 lbs., 5'5". He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a black-and-grey hat.
Security camera images have been released.
