Robbery/Stabbing investigation, Lawrence Avenue East and Rouge Hills Drive area, Police request public's assistance

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying two men involved in a Robbery/Stabbing on Friday August 8, 2014 at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the Lawrence Avenue East and Rouge Hills Drive area.

It is reported that:

- a man and woman were sitting in a parked vehicle, in the Lawrence Avenue East and Rouge Hill Road area

- two unknown men approached the vehicle and ordered the couple to exit the vehicle

- an altercation between the male victim and suspect # 1 ensued

- the suspect then produced a knife and the victim sustained minor lacerations

- both suspects fled the scene in the victim's vehicle

The vehicle has since been located in the West Shore Boulevard and Beachpoint Promenade area in Durham Region.

Suspect #1 is described as white, 27, 5'8", 180-200 pounds, heavy build, short dark-blonde hair, chinstrap beard, wearing a long, black, baggy T-shirt, blue jeans, and dark runners.

Suspect #2 is described as white, 27-28, 6'2"-6'3", 185-200 pounds, with short, brown, messy hair, black baggy T-shirt, dark-blue jeans and black shoes.
