On Friday, June 20, 2014, the City of Toronto and Pride Toronto will present the World Pride Festival Opening Ceremonies and Concert.
As part of the show, there will be a pyrotechnic program from the towers of City Hall. Road closures will be in place for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic around City Hall.
World Pride Festival Opening Ceremonies and Concert pre-show will start at 6:30 p.m.:
Main Stage Opening Ceremonies: 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Main Stage live music: 9 p.m.
Fireworks: 10:15 p.m. to 10:25 p.m.
Finale:t 10:40 p.m.
Road closures: 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m:
Bay Street, from Queen Street to Dundas Street
Hagerman Street, Elizabeth Street to Bay Street
Elizabeth Street: Dundas Street to Hagerman Street
Albert Street: Bay Street to James Street
James Street: Queen Street to Albert Street
The TTC Bay Street bus will be affected by this event.
Northbound Bay bus will be diverted as follows:
Northbound Bay, Richmond Street to University Avenue to Dundas Street to Bay Street
Southbound Bay bus will divert as follows:
Southbound Bay, Dundas Street, to University Avenue to Adelaide Street to Bay Street.
