The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Theft Under investigation involving a Cane Corso dog.
It is reported that:
- on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 1 p.m., at Bayview Avenue and Blythwood Road also known as Sunnybrook Park, a woman met with a man who identified himself on Kijiji as a professional dog trainer
- after a short conversation, the man grabbed the dog from the woman
- the man fled with the dog, into a navy-blue pick-up truck, which was waiting close by
- the dog is described as a five-month-old, male, black Cane Corso, with a white chest patch
The man is described as brown, 6'0", 25-30, short dark hair, with possible acne scars. He was wearing dark clothing.
