Police request public's assistance with shooting investigation, Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue

On Saturday, May 31, 2014, at approximately 10:14 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Shooting in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area.

Upon arrival, officers located two men, 55 and 57, who had been shot. Both were suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

It is reported that:

- two men, 55 and 57, were standing on a pathway, talking

- two other unidentified men began shooting

- both victims were struck by gunshots as they attempted to flee

- the armed men fled the scene in an unknown direction

Both men were treated at hospital for their injuries.

One of the suspects is black, heavy or muscular build, wearing a yellow shirt.
