In January 2014, the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) began an investigation into an allegation of child sexual abuse.
It is alleged that:
- a now seven-year-old girl was sexually assaulted, on numerous occasions between 2010 and 2012, by two men and two boys
On Thursday, April 10, 2014, the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre made the following arrests.
Raymond Savoie, 43, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Gang Sexual Assault
2) two counts of Sexual Assault
3) three counts of Sexual Interference
Michel Savoie, 40, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Gang Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Assault
3) two counts of Sexual Interference
They are scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
Two boys, now 18 and 17, both of Toronto, have each been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference
They are scheduled for their next appearance in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Monday, May 26, 2014.
Police believe there may be other victims.

The CYAC was opened in October 2013 and is comprised of specialized child abuse investigators from the Toronto Police Service, in collaboration with members of the Catholic Children's Aid Society, the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, the Hospital for Sick Children's Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Program (SCAN), Safe-T Program, Halton Trauma Center, and Boost Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention.
