Police request public's assistance with robbery investigation, Jane Street and Weston Road

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying two men wanted in a robbery investigation.

On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10 p.m., police received information on a robbery in the Jane Street and Weston Road area.

It is reported that:

- a man was taking his dog for a walk

- he was approached by two men

- one of the men took out a gun and pointed it directly at the man's stomach

- the man was then handcuffed and robbed of a BlackBerry, a gold chain, and his three-month-old dog

- the two men got into an approaching vehicle, the gun was held, pointing at the man, as the car sped off

The two men are described as:

1) black, approximately 6', dark skin, bald, wearing a black toque, black bandana, black pants

2) black, 5'5"-5'6", wearing a black sweater, sweatpants, toque, bandana with possible small marijuana leaves on it.
