The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests in a robbery investigation.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 10 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a robbery where the victim had been stabbed in the neck in the McCowan Road and Lawrence Avenue East area.
On Monday, March 17, 2014, at approximately 2 a.m., a 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with:
1) Attempted Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Robbery with a weapon
4) Assault with a Weapon
5) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
6) Fail to Comply with Probation
On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, just before midnight, a 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with:
1) Attempted Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Robbery with a weapon
4) Assault with a weapon
They were both scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, 10 a.m.
