The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing assault investigation.
On Friday, March 14, 2014, at 1:45 p.m., police responded to a call for an unknown trouble at 79 Manning Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a man, armed with a knife, was chasing two women
- the women ran into the school in an attempt to seek refuge
Once on scene, police located two women with knife wounds. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A man was taken into custody.
Their identities will not be released.
