On Monday, May 31, 2021, at 10:40 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision involving two motorcycles on the Don Valley Parkway north of Don Mills Road.
It is reported that:
- several motorcycles were southbound on the Don Valley Parkway travelling at a high rate of speed
- a 2016 black Suzuki motorcycle struck the metal barrier
- a 2009 red Honda motorcycle also became involved in the collision
- a woman, 39, sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced at the scene
- a 35-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries and a 40-year-old man sustained serious injuries. They both remain in hospital
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
