The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a 29-year-old woman was walking in the Islington Avenue/Summitcrest Avenue area
- a man followed the woman, grabbed her from behind, forced her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her
- the man fled running northbound on Waterford Drive
He is described as white, 20-25, 5'5", with a medium build. He was wearing a light-coloured winter hat with ear flaps, and a black jacket.
