The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in Homicide #37/2020.
The Toronto Police Service received a radio call to attend Scarborough Town Centre on Friday, July 10, 2020, at 1:37 p.m.
It is alleged that:
- officers located a man, at the entrance of a store, who had been shot
- the man was taken to hospital via emergency run
- the man succumbed to his injuries in hospital and was pronounced deceased
He has since been identified as Jordon Marcelle, 26, of Toronto.

A warrant for the arrest of Shaquille Jameel Taesean Small, 26, of Toronto, was issued.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Shaquille Small was arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police on other alleged charges. The warrant came to light and was executed.
He has been charged with:
1. First degree murder
2. Attempted murder
He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 10 a.m., at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East in room 412.
