The Toronto Police Service would like the public to be aware of arrests made in an ongoing robbery investigation.
On Saturday, November 30, 2019, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a man and woman in a vehicle approached a woman walking in a parking lot in the Markham Road and McNicoll Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- the man began to converse with the woman walking
- then both the man and woman in the vehicle attempted to rob the woman of the gold jewelry she was wearing
On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Constantin Constantin, 27, of Toronto, and Ruxandra Constantin, 23, of Toronto were arrested. They are both charged with:
1. Robbery
They were scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 10 a.m.
