On Sunday, May 19, 2019, at approximately 11:50 a.m., police received a report of a collision at King Street West at Jameson Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a man, 57, was crossing Jameson Avenue from the south side of King Street West
- at that time, a 25-year-old woman, driving a motor vehicle was travelling west on King Street West turning left to proceed south on Jameson Avenue and struck another motor vehicle at the intersection
- after the vehicles collided, the 25-year-old driver struck the man walking
- he man walking suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
