On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, as part of an investigation into the possession of child sex abuse material, members of the Sex Crimes Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Bloor Street West and Bathurst Street area.
It is alleged that:
- the accused accessed, possessed, and made available child sexual abuse material
Jose Lopez Reyna, 41, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
1. two counts of Possession Child Pornography
2. two counts of Access Child Pornography
3. Make Available Child Pornography
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 101
