The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made and subsequent firearm/drug seizure from an ongoing investigation.
On Friday, April 5, 2019, police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a vehicle that was seized from the area of Weston Road and Finch Avenue West.
It is alleged that:
- police located a loaded firearm and a quantity of cocaine inside the vehicle
Juqjuan Darling, 23, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm
2. Possess Loaded Firearm
3. Possess Restricted Firearm without holding a license and registration Certificate
4. Possess Restricted Firearm knowingly not holding a license and registration Certificate
5. Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime
6. Possess Prohibited Device knowing No Authority
7. Possess Firearm While Prohibited
8. Possess Ammunition. While Prohibited
9. Fail to Comply with Recognizance
10. Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking C.D.S.A
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Toronto West Courts, 2201 Finch Avenue West, at 10 a.m., in room 206.
