Robbery/Kidnapping investigation, Wilmington Avenue and Maxwell Street, Four men wanted

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying four men and a vehicle involved in two robberies and kidnappings.

On Friday, February 8, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., a robbery involving a kidnapping occurred in the area of Wilmington Avenue and Maxwell Street.

It is reported that:

- a white, newer model Mercedes SUV approached an 18-year-old man

- two men got out of the vehicle and forced the man into the car at gunpoint, where a third man was waiting

- the men robbed the 18-year-old of his personal property

- he was then driven around, taken to a bank where another man accessed an ATM and withdrew a quantity of cash using his card

- the men then dropped him off in a nearby area


Suspect #1 is described as black, 6'0"-6'1", approximately 20-years-old, with a thin build, and curly hair. He was wearing a red jacket, a dark-coloured toque, and light-coloured pants. This man was in possession of a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as black, 5'11", approximately 20-years-old, with short curly hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket.

Suspect #3 is described as black, 5'11"-6'0", approximately 20-years-old, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured scarf around his head.

Suspect #4 is described as black, 6'0", approximately 20-years-old, with a thin build. He was wearing all dark clothing.


On Sunday, February 10, 2019, at approximately 4:45 a.m., a robbery involving a kidnapping occurred in the area of Churchill Avenue and Senlac Road.

It is reported that:

- a white, newer model Mercedes SUV, approached a 31-year-old man

- three men got out of the vehicle and approached the man, making demands for his items

- the three men then forced the man into the vehicle at gunpoint

- the men drove to the man's home where they stole the man's vehicle

- the men then drove the man to a nearby area and dropped him off


Suspect #1 is described as 6'2"-6'3", 175 lbs., in his mid-to-late twenties. He was wearing a white coat with fur trim and had his face covered. He was in possession of a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as brown, 5'11"-6'0", with a chubby face, and crooked teeth. He was wearing a green jacket and a black toque.

Suspect #3 is described as 5'7"-5'8". He was wearing a black jacket with brown fur trim and had his face covered. He was also in possession of a handgun.
