On Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 7:03 p.m., police responded to a call for a Personal Injury Collision in the Danforth Road at Patterson Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a 67-year-old woman was walking across Patterson Avenue on the north side of Danforth Road
- a unknown vehicle was driving northeast on Danforth Road and started to turn left onto Patterson Avenue
- the vehicle struck the pedestrian
- the vehicle did not remain and fled the scene northeast on Danforth Road
- the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital
- the suspect vehicle is described as a black SUV and may have damage to the front left corner
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
