The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at approximately 11:25 p.m., a man and woman were standing outside a restaurant on Weston Road near Finch Avenue West, when a lone male approached
- the suspect, armed with a knife, proceeded to rob the man
- a struggle ensued and the man and woman both sustained stab wounds
- a second woman, known to the victims, exited the restaurant and tried to assist the victims and sustained minor injuries as a result
- the suspect was last seen driving a silver, four-door sedan, southbound on Weston Road, south of Finch Avenue West
The suspect is described as black, early 20's, 5'10"-5'11", medium build. He was wearing black pants, black shoes with white soles, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a brown hip-length jacket with fur on the hood, and a dark baseball hat with a shiny logo on the front.
