The Toronto Police Service responded to a shooting call on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 2:30 a.m., at the Empire nightclub at 50 Cumberland Street.
Police responded to the address and found people running from the area. Some people were located at the scene with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, while others attended hospital on their own.

Jermain Morgan, 26, of Toronto, is charged with:
1. five counts of Aggravated Assault
2. five counts of Discharge Firearm Endanger Life
3. Weapons Dangerous
4. Discharge Firearm-Recklessness at Place
5. Use Firearm to Commit Indictable Offence
6. Carry Concealed Weapon
7. Possession of a Restricted Firearm Ammunition
8. Possession of Unregistered Restricted Weapon
He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Monday, September 23, 2013, at 10 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
