On August 30, 2013, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release regarding a sexual assault investigation.
It was reported that:
- on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 10 a.m., a woman noticed a man as she walked to the bus platform at Keele subway station
- the woman travelled to the Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road area when the same man left the bus with her
- as the woman walked, she noticed the man following her
- a short time later, the man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her
- the woman fought him off and the man fled
The suspect description is black, 20-25, 5'7", 140 lbs., He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured long-sleeved hoodie, beige cargo pants and dark high-top runners.

Police have released three new security camera images of the suspect.
