Sex Assault Alert Man wanted

Police would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault that occurred on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at approximately 1:30 a.m., in the Spadina Avenue/College Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 25-year-old woman was walking northbound on Spadina Avenue when she noticed a man walking closely behind her

- once at Spadina Circle and Russell Street, she stepped to the side to allow the man to pass

- the man sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing northbound on Spadina Avenue

The man is described as black with a dark complexion, approximately 20, 5'6"-5'8", with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-black or navy-blue hoodie, light-blue shorts with white trim, and white Nike running shoes.
