The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in an Assault investigation.
On Monday, December 11, 2017, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for an Assault in the Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a woman answered a knock at the door
- two men forced their way inside
- one man grabbed her and covered her mouth to keep her quiet
- she screamed for help and the men fled
Alexander Washington Evans, 22, of Toronto, is wanted.
He is described as 5'11", beard, long black hair, brown eyes.
Police believe he is violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
His photograph is released.
The other man is described as black, 18-19, wearing a blue hoodie. He remains outstanding and unidentified.
