The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance, and would like to issue a caution, regarding a man wanted for assaulting two passengers travelling on the Spadina line using the TTC.
On Friday, November 17, 2017, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a call for an Assault at Spadina Subway station.
It is reported that:
- two passengers were on board a northbound Spadina line subway train
- they were approached by an unknown man
- he assaulted them by spraying them with an unknown substance
One of the passengers suffered redness and irritation to the eyes. This passenger was transported to an area hospital and treated for the exposure.
The suspect is described as 6’0”, wearing a black leather jacket, grey hoodie, black pants, dark shoes with white laces. He was carrying a small spray bottle.
If he is located, do not approach, call 911 immediately. He is considered violent and dangerous.
