Arrests made in multiple Street Robberies, Occurring in the Beaches Area of Toronto, 4 boys, facing multiple charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of multiple robbery arrests that have occurred in the Beaches area of Toronto.

It is alleged:

- men wearing disguises approached their victims

- the men would then steal their property at knife-point

On Friday, November 10, 2017, a 15-year-old boy was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Robbery with Offensive Weapon
2) two counts of Robbery
3) Possession of a Weapon
4) two counts of Carry Concealed Weapon
5) Disguise with Intent
6) two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance

He was scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 10 a.m., in room 1.


On Friday, November 10, 2017, two 16-year-old boys were arrested. They have been charged with:

1) Robbery with Offensive Weapon
2) two counts of Robbery
3) Possession of a Weapon
4) two counts of Carry Concealed Weapon

They were scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 10 a.m., in room 1.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, a criminal code search warrant was executed in the Pine Crescent and Glen Manor area. A 16-year-old boy was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Robbery with Offensive Weapon
2) Robbery
3) Possession of a Weapon
4) Carry Concealed Weapon
5) Disguise with Intent
6) Possession of property obtained by crime.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 10 a.m.

All the boys cannot be identified due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Please refer to Section 110, Subsection 1, of the YCJA:

110. (1) Subject to this section, no person shall publish the name of a young person, or any other information related to a young person, if it would identify the young person as a young person dealt with under this Act.*
