On Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Canadian Tire, at 1901 Eglinton Avenue East, members of the Toronto Police Service 54 Division, in partnership with Canadian Tire staff, will be launching its Toys for Kids event.
This annual event raised $10,000 last year and supported families in the local and surrounding Divisions.
This year, the officers, Auxiliary members, volunteers and staff will be joined by Canadian Tire store owner Mike Kenopic.
In attendance will be Superintendent Mark Barkley and Inspector Peter Moreira.
Members of the public are invited to drop by for refreshments.
For the next five weeks, this Canadian Tire location will be accepting Canadian Tire money and cash donations that will be used to buy gifts to be distributed via local social service agencies.
