On Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 11:35 p.m., police responded to a call for a person shot in the Keele Street and Finch Avenue West area.

On Wednesday, November 25, 2009, an arrest warrant was issued for Robert Owen Cave, then 20, for First-Degree Murder.
On Friday, August 2, 2013, at 2:55 p.m., Robert Owen Cave, now 24, was arrested at Toronto Pearson International Airport and charged with First- Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 9 a.m.
Police are seeking the public's assistance identifying two outstanding male suspects. They are described as:
1) black, 6', with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a baggy, dark grey-silver jacket with the hood up and a red bandana.
2) black. He was last seen wearing a baggy black jacket with long pockets.
Both men are considered armed and dangerous.
