Missing girl, Anne Marie McLeod-Morgan, 17, Update

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance locating a missing girl.

Anne Marie McLeod-Morgan, 17, was last seen on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the Yonge Street and Gerrard Street area.

She is described as a white, 5'4", 123 lbs., with a thin build, hazel eyes, and dyed, shoulder-length brownish red hair. She was last seen wearing light-coloured denim jeans with rips, black plastic jacket, and light-brown boots with fur along the top.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Man faces 17 charges relating to string of residential break-and-enters, James Meichelbeck, 28

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Break-and-Enter investigation.

It is alleged that:

- since Thursday, January 30, 2014, a man broke into several homes along Ellesmere Road, between Brimley Road and Pharmacy Avenue

- the man broke in during the day while the homeowners were out

- the man then stole jewelry, electronics, cash and other valuables before leaving in a car

On Tuesday, February 11, 2014, the man was arrested.

James Meichelbeck, 28, of no fixed address, is charged with:

1) 14 counts of Break-and-enter - commit
2) two counts of Possession of property obtained by crime
3) Possession of burglar's tools

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Ave East, in courtroom 412, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 10 a.m.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at approximately 12:45 p.m., it is reported that:

- a 17-year-old girl was walking in the Kipling Avenue and Albion Road area as a man followed her

- the man grabbed her from behind and put his hand over her mouth

- he then sexually assaulted her as she tried to fight him off

- the girl kicked him and he fled northbound on Kipling Avenue

The man is described as black, 25-30, 6'2", with a medium build. He was wearing a black winter toque, black jacket and blue jeans.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in an assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a man boarded a streetcar, the eastbound 501 Queen Street, and got into an argument with the TTC operator

- the man spat in the operator's face then got off the street car in the Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue area

The man is described as white, 5'10"-6', 180 lbs., wearing a waist-length black jacket, and a green winter hat.

Security camera images of the man have been released.

Man arrested in Sexual Assault investigation, Andrew Medford, 23, Police believe there may be more victims

On Saturday, November 23, 2013, Andrew Medford, then 22, was arrested and charged in relation to a sexual assault in the Keele Street/Rogers Road area.

On Tuesday, February 11, 2014 Andrew Medford, 23, was arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred on Friday, July 15, 2011, in the Dufferin Street/Eglinton Avenue West area. He was charged with:

1) Sexual Assault with a weapon
2) Overcome Resistance - Choking
3) Threatening Bodily Harm
4) Assault
5) Weapons Dangerous

He appeared in court on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, and was remanded to Monday, February 24, 2014.

Police believe there may be more victims.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man and his daughter.

Moses Ma, 27, and his daughter, Sofi Ma, 2, were last known to be in Toronto in January 2014.

Moses Ma is described as having short black hair and brown eyes.

Sofi Ma is described as having black, shoulder-length hair and dark-brown eyes.

Police are concerned for the safety of Sofi Ma.

Public Alert, Fraudulent concert ticket investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing investigation into fraudulent concert tickets.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, February 13, 2014, police received a complaint regarding the authenticity of Justin Timberlake tickets, purchased on Kijiji, for a concert at the Air Canada Centre on Friday, February 14, 2014

As a result of the subsequent investigation, on Friday, February 14, 2014, two men were arrested. It is alleged that counterfeit tickets were seized.

Investigators would like to make the public aware that there are still counterfeit tickets circulating for sale. Police will be on scene at the concert, and anyone in possession of counterfeit tickets will be denied access.

The Toronto Police Service, 32 Division, executed a series of five search warrants during Project "Red Cross", which began on December 2, 2013.

The project began in response to a rash of break-and-enters within the boundaries of 32 Division.

Search warrants were executed in Toronto and York Region.

it is alleged that:

- during the search warrants, two vehicles, jewellery, electronics and approximately $18,000 cash were seized

On Thursday, February 23, 2014, the following were arrested:

Giga Odosashvili, 26, of Vaughan, charged with:

1. two counts of Break-and-Enter

George Sidamonidze, 38, of Toronto, charged with:

1. three counts of Break-and-Enter

Lasha Chodzeli, 31, of Vaughan, charged with:

1. Attempt Break-and-Enter
2. Fail to Comply Recognizance

Alex Dolidze, 31, of Vaughan, charged with:

1. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (over),
2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime

They all appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, February 13, 2014.

A warrant for the arrest of Sokrat Janelidze, 36, of Toronto, has been issued. His photograph has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are attempting to identify the rightful owners of property seized during the search warrants. Photographs of some of the property have been released. Anyone who believes any of the items belong to them is asked to contact 32 Division at 416-808-3200.

Marcia Ramirez Cabalceta, 34, was last seen on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at approximately 2 p.m., in the Banbury Road/Lawrence Avenue East area.

She is described as white, 5'3", with a slim build, brown eyes, and long dark hair. She was wearing a black winter jacket with white fur trim.

Police are concerned for her safety.

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with an Attempt Murder investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded for an assault in the Milliken Boulevard/Finch Avenue East area

- police located a 26-year-old man with severe head trauma

- he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

The investigation has revealed that the man's car is outstanding.

The car is described as a 2004, silver, four-door BMW 320i, with Ontario licence plate TRLSEND.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an Indecent Act investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, February 10, 2014, in the morning hours, a man exposed himself to a 17-year-old girl

- on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in the evening hours, the same man exposed himself to a 55-year-old woman

- on Thursday, February 13, 2014, in the morning hours, the same man exposed himself to a 23-year-old woman

- all three occurred in the Thorncliffe Park area and, each time, the man smiled at the females

The man is described as brown, late 20s-early 30s, approximately 5'7", with a medium-heavy build, dark eyes, and possibly an overbite. He was wearing a dark-coloured winter coat, beige/tan pants, dark-coloured boots, and black gloves.

Public Safety Alert, Lost medication

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, February 14, 2014, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a black tote bag with a drawstring was lost near the King subway station

- the bag contains pills to treat seizures and a liquid narcotic which could cause serious side effects and toxic reactions if used by someone other than the person for whom it is prescribed.

The drugs can pose a serious health risk, especially to children.

- a man had sexually assaulted a 33-year-old woman

The man has been identified as David Jeremy Hodgson, 36.

He is described as white, 5'9", 180 lbs., with brown eyes, and straight brown hair.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest for Sexual Assault.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2014, between 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., members of the 23 Division Somali Liaison Unit and senior officers will host a virtual town hall to discuss community policing with a focus on the efforts of the Somali Liaison Unit.

The Toronto Police Service has partnered with Prime Contact to randomly select approximately 10,000 23 Division residents, specifically from the Dixon Road community, to participate in this discussion.

As a result, members of the public may receive a phone call on Monday, February 17, 2014 or Tuesday, February 18, 2014, inviting them to listen in, ask questions, and join other community members in discussion.

The Toronto Police Service would ask those who receive a phone call to consider this very important invitation. Every participant will have the opportunity to provide valuable input.

A Somali translator will participate in the town hall to assist the public.
