Man Wanted in Assault Investigation, Security Image Released

The Toronto Police would like to make the public aware of an assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, February 25, 2022, a man spit twice on a woman while on a TTC subway train travelling westbound from Broadview Station

- this was an unprovoked attack

- the man fled at Spadina Station in an unknown direction

He is described as 25-35 years, 5'8", with a medium build, and he was unshaven. He was wearing a grey toque, blue jacket, dark-coloured blue jeans, sunglasses, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.

Missing man, Lake Shore Boulevard West and Parklawn Road area, Arthur Higo, 86

The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Arthur Higo, 86, was last seen on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Parklawn Road area.

He is described as 5’3", with an average build, and short grey thinning hair. He was seen wearing a green quilted jacket with wooden buttons, brown shoes, and a tweed “paper boy” style hat.

He was last seen driving a silver Lexus SUV, with an Ontario licence- AHJW 738.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Sonita Ahmadi, 31, was last seen on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 1:20 p.m., in the Grenoble Drive and Deauville Lane area.

She is described as 5'4", with a medium build, and has dark curly hair. She was last seen wearing a red and black plaid coat, blue jeans, blue scarf, black boots and was carrying a light pink purse.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Missing Woman, Located, Grenoble Drive and Deauville Lane area, Sonita Ahmadi, 31

Suspect sought in suspected hate-motivated mischief investigation, Bathurst Street and Bloor Street West area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with the identification of a suspect involved in an anti-Semitic graffiti investigation.

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, officers responded to a call for a hate crime in the Bathurst Street and Bloor Street West area.

It is reported that:

- between the hours of 4 a.m., and 5 a.m., a person entered the grounds of Central Technical School and using a can of spray paint, sprayed numerous anti-Semitic graffiti messages on the school property

The suspect is described as having a medium build and was wearing a dark jacket, grey pants, and light tan coloured work boots.

Security images have been released.

After consultation with the Service's specialized Hate Crime Unit, the investigation is being treated as a suspected hate motivated offence.

When suspected hate-motivated offences are reported to police, the investigation will be led by a Divisional investigator. The Hate Crime Unit will be made aware and specialized officers from that unit will support the investigation as needed.

If it is alleged a criminal offence was committed (such as assault or mischief) and it is believed to have been motivated by bias, prejudice or hate, the officer-in-charge will consult with the Crown. If a person is charged and convicted of the offence, the Judge will take into consideration hate as an aggravating factor when imposing a sentence.

Willful promotion of hatred and advocating genocide are hate propaganda (hate speech) offences which require the Attorney General’s consent. Members of the Hate Crime Unit will provide assistance and support to the divisional investigators in seeking the Attorney General’s consent to lay these charges, if applicable. These charges are often laid at a later time.

Isabella McGuire, 14, was last seen on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 1 p.m., in the Dawes Road and Danforth Avenue area.

She is described as 5'4", 123lbs, with brown curly hair. There was no clothing description provided.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Shius Keir, 14, was last seen on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., in the Weston Road and Humber Boulevard area.

He is described as 5'0", 140lbs. He was wearing a black winter coat, grey hoodie, black track pants, black knapsack, red and white Jordan running shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Obaid Ullah Sukhera, 15, was last seen on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 3:11 p.m., in the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Ontario Drive area.

He is described as 5'8", with a thin build, black hair and has facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, light pants, and dark shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Fatal Collision #8/2022, Lake Shore Boulevard West and Jameson Avenue

On Sunday, March 6, 2022, at approximately 2:40 a.m., police received a report of a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Jameson Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a 30-year-old man was operating a black, 2018 BMW M4, eastbound on Lake Shore Boulevard West at a high rate of speed

- the driver crossed over into the westbound lanes and struck a concrete barrier

- the driver was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries

- a passenger in the vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition, where she succumbed to her injuries

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services. Police are interested in speaking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or drivers who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident.

Missing Man, Located, Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West area, Howard Meggoe, 61

Arrest made in assault investigations, Delan Lewis, 24

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in several assault investigations.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 6:48 p.m., Special Constables from the Toronto Transit Commission arrested a man at the Finch TTC subway station.

It is alleged that:

- between Saturday, October 16, 2021, and Saturday, March 5, 2022, a man assaulted people on eight separate occasions on TTC property, by spraying them with an unknown substance

- the man had a baton, bear spray and an airsoft pistol in his possession when arrested

Delan Lewis, 24, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. three counts of Carry Concealed Weapon

2. three counts of Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace

3. eleven counts of assault with a weapon or imitation weapon

4. eleven counts of administer noxious thing, intent to aggrieve, annoy


He attended court on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Old City Hall, in room 101, at 9 a.m.

Investigators believe there may be more victims. An image has been released.

Man arrested in two separate Sexual Assault Investigations, Mosleh Ibrahim, 69,

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- between Tuesday, February 22, 2022 and Sunday, February 27, 2022, a man entered onto TTC property at the Main Street Subway Station and Warden Subway Station.

- the man sexually assaulted two different victims on two different days

On Sunday, February 27 2022, Mosleh Ibrahim, 69, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:

- two counts of Sexual Assault

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 9 a.m., in room 507.

Suspects Sought in Suspected Hate Motivated Mischief Investigation, The Queensway and Islington Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with the identification of suspects involved a suspected hate motivated mischief investigation.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, at approximately 10:27 p.m., police responded to a call for a damage in progress in The Queensway and Islington Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- two males were in the parking lot of the Cineplex Theater plaza

- they damaged multiple parked vehicles, each using a sledgehammer

- the damaged vehicles had Russian flags displayed in their windshields

The suspects are described as:

1. Male, late teens, wearing a grey sweater

2. Male, black sweater

The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a dark grey Acura.

After consultation with the Service's specialized Hate Crime Unit, the investigation is being treated as a suspected hate motivated offence.

Grant Alex Procyk, 44, was last seen on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at approximately 2:15 p.m., in the The Westway and Callowhill Drive area.

He is described as 5'8”, 150 lbs., with brown shoulder length hair, scruffy facial hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black 3/4 length jacket, beige hat, black shoes, and grey track pants.

There is no picture of him currently available.

Fatal Collision #9, Bond Street south of Dundas Street East

The Toronto Police Service is investigating a fatal collision.

On Sunday, March 6, 2022, at approximately 3:21 p.m., officers responded to a call for a collision in the Bond Street and Dundas Street East area.

It is reported that:

- a 59-year-old man was driving a black 2021 Ford SUV out of a parking lot onto Bond Street

- a 45-year-old man was sitting on the sidewalk on the east side of Bond Street, south of Dundas Street East

- the man was struck by the SUV on the sidewalk suffering serious injuries

- he was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, businesses and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
