The Toronto Police Service is advising the public of a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 53-year-old woman was walking in the Warden Avenue and McNicoll Avenue area
- a man approached the woman from behind and sexually assaulted her before fleeing on foot
- on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a 25-year-old woman got off a bus in the same area
- it is believed the same man approached this woman from behind and sexually assaulted her before fleeing on foot
The man is described as black with a darker skin tone, 5'-5'6”, with a thin-to-medium build, possibly in his early 20s.
He may have been wearing a dark bomber jacket, or an orange hooded jacket with black lines down the sleeves, and black jeans. He was carrying an orange backpack with tie-downs on the front in one report, and a dark knapsack or dufflebag in the other report.
