The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a theft investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 12:51 p.m., three men attended Toronto General Hospital at 200 Elizabeth Street
- two of the suspects proceeded to the fourth floor of the Peter Munk Wing, where they loaded a Boston Steinway Baby Grand Piano from the hospital onto a dolly
- they moved the piano to a waiting cargo van, where a third suspect assisted with loading the piano into the vehicle
The suspects are described as:
1) white, 25, 5'11", 190 lbs., with short blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes
2) black, 25, with black hair. He was last seen wearing white/blue striped shirt, brown shorts, dark baseball cap and dark shoes.
3) white, 25, with black hair.
The suspects' vehicle is described as a white Ford Cargo-style van with a darker colour on the fender.
