On Saturday, July 20, 2013, police arrested a man in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- a mother takes her child to a private day-care facility at 531 Glenlake Avenue
- on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at approximately 6:20 p.m., she went to the facility to pick up her child
- when she arrived, she was met by the husband of the woman who ran the facility who was away on holiday
- the mother was sexually assaulted by the man
Ilija Novosel, 49, of Toronto, has been charged with:
- sexual assault
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, July 21, 2013, 10 a.m.
